That’s right: You can use your flexible spending account (FSA) or health savings account (HSA) dollars to shop sunscreen.

What is an FSA? How about an HSA?

FSAs (flexible spending accounts) and HSAs (health savings accounts) are employee benefits that let you set aside pre-tax dollars for specific healthcare expenses, like healthcare appointment co-pays, certain medications and sunscreen! That’s right; our SPF favorite is eligible!

How do I spend my FSA or HSA dollars at asthetikskincare.com?

First, you’ll need to make sure you’ve enrolled in an FSA or HSA through your employer-provided benefits! If you have one of these accounts, you can use the FSA or HSA card issued by your benefits provider at checkout, just like you would a regular credit card. If you weren’t issued a card but do have an FSA or HSA account, you may be able to use your regular credit card and get reimbursed later with proof of purchase — make sure to check with your benefits provider first!

How can I get an itemized receipt for my purchase?

If your benefits provider allows reimbursement for an FSA or HSA eligible order made using your personal credit card, you’ll need to submit a receipt. Additionally, your benefits provider may also ask for a receipt to verify a purchase made using your FSA or HSA card. You can simply submit your shipping receipt confirmation email!
