Sun-Sational: ästhetik featured among Southwest Florida’s locally made sunscreens

In its 2024 Healthy Life edition, Gulfshore Life rounded up four sunscreens formulated by Southwest Florida skin professionals, chosen for clean, cruelty-free ingredients that layer well without the white cast often associated with mineral SPF.

ästhetik’s Tinted Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50, created by founder and esthetician Alexis Pfropper of ästhetik spa & skincare in Punta Gorda, was one of the four. The feature highlighted its tinted, vegan, non-comedogenic formula with SPF 50 broad-spectrum mineral protection, antioxidant-rich botanicals, vitamins and hyaluronic acid, and its hydrating, silky finish. At the time of publication the tint suited light-to-medium skin tones, and the magazine noted that additional shades were in development.
